College of Social Sciences & Education Advising
Academic advising in the College of Social Sciences & Education (CSSE) is divided into two categories: general academic advising and major/program advising.
- If you are working on your general education requirements, we recommend you meet with one of our CSSE general academic advisors. Our general education advisors can help you choose a major or minor, adjust your class schedule to fit your needs, and make sure you are on the right track to meet your major’s prerequisite requirements.
- Once you have completed your general education requirements, your program’s advisor can assist you with completing your major’s requirements.
Before meeting with a CSSE general academic advisor:
- If you are a new student at 91风流, sign up for New Student Orientation and Weber Welcome and complete the online New Student Orientation modules before scheduling an advising appointment. The modules will answer many of your questions, and help guide you on your college journey.
- Read up on Weber State University General Education requirements, class information in the , or use the tool to map out a potential semester-by-semester path for your degree.
- Make sure has updated contact information.
- If you would like a parent, spouse, or significant other to be with you during an advising appointment, you must fill out a in your eWeber portal as stated in the university’s FERPA guidelines.
