Graduate Athletic Training Student Organization (GATSO)
GATSO offers a chance to assist in advancing the field of athletic training by representing Weber State and the MSAT program at the regional and national levels.
What You’ll Gain
- Provide service to the university and local community
- Attend social events with students and faculty
- Participate in professional networking and educational opportunities
- Attend athletic training symposiums and similar events
- Help recruit future athletic training students
- Meet and socialize with other graduate students
How to Join
Become an MSAT student. Officers will visit MSAT students in class to recruit members. You can also join by contacting an officer directly. There is no membership fee, so there's no excuse not to join!

Advising
Our advisors are here for you. Advising is available for guidance on grades and progress toward graduation throughout your academic program.
Meet with your faculty advisor each semester to ensure that you are on track to graduate. Bring your W number with you to your advising appointment.

Current Students
Once you’re admitted to the MSAT program, you will meet with your faculty advisor for counseling on grades and progress towards graduation. It is your responsibility to schedule the required meetings with your advisor.
