Ontogen Medtech, a product development consultancy focused on bringing innovative medical technologies to market. We’re excited to share that we've recently launched a $1,000 annual scholarship designed to support and encourage students pursuing degrees in biomedical engineering or related fields.
We created this scholarship to give back to the academic community that nurtures the next generation of medical innovators. Our goal is to support aspiring engineers and help them take the next step in their educational journey.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering student or recent graduate to support
our manufacturing and engineering teams. This individual will assist with CAD modeling,
process improvement, quality control documentation, and liaising between our engineering and
production teams to ensure high-quality, efficient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and drafting of precision aerospace components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or Fusion 360)
- Interpret technical drawings and military specifications
- Collaborate with machinists and shop floor teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes
- Support documentation for First Article Inspection (FAI), Process Flow, and Work Instructions
- Perform time studies and recommend process improvements
- Contribute to Source Approval Requests (SAR) and government compliance documentation as needed
- Participate in design for manufacturability reviews
Qualifications: - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering (or similar field)
- Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S. (due to government contracts)

The Division of Technology Services is looking for a Product Management Intern for 12-15 weeks from September to December 2025. The Product Management Intern will play a foundational role in shaping the vision for MyBusiness, a new digital platform designed to provide Utah businesses with a single point of access to their state information from various agencies, as mandated by . Working closely with the Product Owner and a UX Designer/Researcher, this intern will assist in market research, project documentation, and stakeholder communication to define initial product requirements and a clear value proposition for MyBusiness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in product discovery within a government technology context.
Skills Required:

All remote work must be performed within Utah.
This is a temporary position without a benefits package, the work timeline is 3 - 4 months.
