Automotive and Vehicle Engineering Technology (AAS)

This program prepares students to diagnose, service, and repair electrical automotive and transportation systems, with a focus on technical and communication skills for the automotive service industry.

Program Details:

• Degree: Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
• Total Credit Hours: 68

  • Support Courses Required for All Tracks (13 credit hours)

  • Select one of the following tracks:

    • Automotive Service Courses (28 credits):
      Includes Intro to Automotive Service, Braking Systems, Engines, Electronics, EV Safety, and Transmissions
    • Electrical Engineering Tech Courses (18 credits):
      Includes Semiconductor Circuits, Power and Motors, Communication Systems, Troubleshooting, and Industrial Controls.
• Minimum Grade: C in major courses; 2.0 GPA overall
