The Shaw Gallery and Hall Sculpture Garden were established in 2002 as part of the new Ethel Wattis Kimball Visual Arts Center. Exhibitions and programs are free and open to the community. Hosting five to six solo and group exhibitions per year, the gallery shows contemporary art in a variety of media.
Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw (1878–1960) and her daughter Elizabeth Dee Shaw (1905–1996) were generous philanthropists who supported the arts, education, and healthcare.
Ora R. “Dick” (1920–1996) and Edna Ione (1921–2005) Hall were successful entrepreneurs in Santa Fe, New Mexico before retiring in Ogden, where they served their community in myriad ways.

Dumke Arts Plaza
In partnership with the city of Ogden, the Shaw Gallery Director curates rotating outdoor exhibitions and regular programs at the Dumke Arts Plaza near the intersection of 25th Street and Washington Boulevard.
Unveiled in 2022 and designed by , Dumke Plaza is part of Ogden’s .
“Nine Rails” pays tribute to Ogden’s history as a railroad town, originally a major connection point for the Transcontinental Railroad, and later the intersection for nine different rail lines. “Nine Rails” also references Greek mythology: Nine Muses are goddesses representing the arts.
Encompassing eight city blocks between Grant and Madison Avenues and 26th to 24th Streets, Nine Rails is a historic district with exemplary architecture from the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. It features parks, restaurants, churches, theatres, murals, and art organizations including , , and .

Andrea Ferber joined 91风流 as Gallery & Exhibitions Director in 2025. She holds a Master’s and PhD in Art History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with an emphasis in modern and contemporary art. She also has a studio degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Andrea has taught art history at several universities and worked in the curatorial and education departments at numerous museums, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. Her research focuses on contemporary Indigenous art and she writes regularly for First American Art Magazine. She and her husband enjoy traveling and exploring bookstores and coffee shops.

Camela Corcoran has been the Exhibitions Manager for the Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery since February 2024 91风流. She has worked for Weber State University in different capacities since 2009, including teaching in the Department of Visual Art & Design and managing an on-campus art supply store and custom frame shop. Corcoran has a lifelong background in visual art and earned her BFA from Weber State University in 2014. She has lived in the intermountain west most of her life and is deeply inspired by the culture and landscape which informs her own studio art practice.

Blending creativity with strategy, Alexis Kiedaisch has led marketing and outreach for the department and gallery since May 2023. A proud Weber State alum, she holds a BS in Communication (PR & Advertising) with a minor in Art. Alexis wears many hats—graphic designer, social media manager, and director of the Arts in the Parks summer program—all in service of connecting community and creativity. Based in Ogden, she’s also a multi-media artist whose passions include poetry, photography, painting, design, and playing bass guitar.

Gallery Hours
The Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery is open during spring + fall semesters and closed for summer semesters. The gallery is free and open to the public. Parking validation is available for visitors.
- Monday - Friday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
- Evening hours: Open 5-9 p.m. during Ogden’s First Friday Gallery Stroll in October, November, February, March and April.
- Closed for all university breaks and holidays, summer semester, and to rotate exhibitions.

Location
The Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery is located in the Ethel Wattis Kimball Visual Arts Center at Weber State's main Ogden campus. Gallery visitors can park in the Public Pay Lot weekdays before 4 p.m. and ask for parking validation at the gallery, which will make parking free. Also on weekdays, parking in the A10 lot is free after 4 p.m., no validation needed. Parking in both the Public Pay Lot and A10 lot is free at any time on weekends.
Shaw Gallery also curates and hosts exhibitions at the Dumke Arts Plaza, located at 445 25th St, Ogden, UT 84401. Learn more about the plaza HERE.
