Permanence Of Earth: Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture

Permanence of Earth: Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture, was a group exhibition featuring the innovative work of ten American artists: Eugene Ofori Agyei, Natalia Arbelaez, Andrea Keys Connell, Salvador Jimenez-Flores, Courtney Mattison, Matt Mitros, Jessica Sanders, Lydia C. Thompson, Erin Furimsky, and Linda Lopez.

The exhibition coincided with the 59th annual conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA). Formation, the theme of the conference, invites us to dig deep into the historical and cultural significance of ceramics worldwide.

The exhibition was on display January 24-March 29, 2025 with a closing reception on March 28 at Shaw Gallery.
