Application Requirements & Deadlines

Successful applicants will have:
  • A background in systems engineering, engineering management, or a related technical field
  • Professional experience in complex system design, development, or integration
  • An interest in advancing their careers through structured, model-based methods
  • Completion of INCOSE Sep Certification or have SE 6010 or equivalent:  
    • If you are INCOSE SEP Certified or have completed SE 6010 or equivalent, apply for Spring Semester. The deadline is October 1. 
    • If you are not INCOSE SEP Certified SE 6010 (INCOSE SEP Equivalent Course), the application deadline is July 15 or March 1 to start SE 6010 the following fall*.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completion prior to enrollment
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Preferred 3 years of SE experience
  • *Leveling Requirement: INCOSE SEP certified or completed SE 6010 or equivalent. Fall applicants may complete SE 6010 in the fall and start certificate courses in the spring.

You will work with:

  • Dassault Magic System of Systems Architecture, the industry standard SysML modeling environment
  • Toolkits and Plugins for extending tool capabilities and automating repetitive modeling tasks
  • Simulation and analysis extensions for verifying behavior, structure, and system constraints
  • Architecture frameworks and governance that support compliance with industry standards
