*If you don’t have a pre-printed card, write your name/email on a blank card, not a big deal.
*If your name is difficult to pronounce, write it phonetically on your name card.

Schedule

• Processional line up at northeast entrance of Stewart Stadium (under the Sark’s Boy’s Gateway entrance to the stadium).
• Pick up your name card from your department administrative specialist. Once you have your name card you will form a single line with the other graduates from your department. Staff will be available to direct you.
• Guides will lead the graduates into the seating area once the processional begins.
• Masters Degree Candidates: During the processional, carry your hood neatly folded over your left arm.

Other Convocation Information

• The ceremony will last approximately 1 hour. 
• Plenty of seats for all the family and friends you want to bring, no limit
• It is only for College of Education graduates.
• There will be a student speaker for each department and then you will receive your diploma (this will be the cover for your actual diploma which will be mailed at a later date).
• The diplomas are handed out by department and by the Dean of the college.
• The entire department stands up together and forms a line to hand their name card to the reader and then walk across the stage. There will be ushers to help you. 
• All events are held in the Stewart Stadium unless otherwise noted. Check back April 22, 2025 for any weather-related updates. Park at the Dee Events Center and take the shuttle to Stewart Stadium. Please join us at the Shepherd Union Atrium for light refreshments following the ceremony.

Diplomas

Diplomas are not given out during the graduation ceremonies. Instead, they are printed and mailed to the address you provided on your graduation application. You will receive a notification when your diploma is mailed out. If you move or change your address after submitting your application, send your new address to graduation@weber.edu using your student email.
