About
B. Ariel Blair joined the faculty at Weber State’s Goddard School of Business and Economics as an Assistant Professor in 2023. Ariel earned a PhD in organizational behavior from Claremont Graduate University, an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a bachelor's degree from Brown University.
Prior to returning to graduate school, Ariel spent more than 25 years working with corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Her career included leadership roles in the printer businesses at Hewlett-Packard in the United States and in Europe. She has worked in a wide range of industries including banking, healthcare, paper manufacturing and technology development.
Ariel’s research interests include organizational change with a particular focus on effectively engaging a global workforce. Her current research focuses on cross-cultural influences on employee voice, the impact of gender and race on leadership, and the colonization of leadership and followership theory.
