About

Andrew Keinsley joined the Weber State University faculty in 2015 and currently serves as an associate professor of economics in the Goddard School of Business & Economics.

In addition to his bachelor's degree from Franklin College, he holds master's and PhD degrees in economics from the University of Kansas. Presently, he teaches courses in the fields of macroeconomics and monetary policy. Much like his teaching, Keinsley’s research focuses on the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on the macroeconomy. His most recent works include an analysis of inflation’s impact on the federal income tax code and a study of the effectiveness of monetary policy in a changing economy.
