My parents and siblings also graduated from Weber State. My grandfather also taught at Weber State for 30 years.

WHY THE MASTER OF ACCOUNTING

My other grandfather was an accountant, also the professors early on really made me see the value in the major and I loved how passionate they were about the field.

BEAUTIFUL CONNECTIONS

I have enjoyed the beauty of the campus as well as the connections I’ve made along the way. In the accounting major you are there day in and day out with a lot of the same people and being able to work through the assignments and the struggles. We all know how happy we felt when we finish Professor Davis’s ESUA assignment.

ADVICE FOR OTHER STUDENTS

Take your time and get to know your peers. Join BAP, and go to as many activities you can. Look for internships early on.

WHAT'S NEXT

I am starting an internship at Forvis Mazars in January and hoping it turns into a full-time offer.
